New year, same bullshit. Right?
Why?
You spin your wheels day in and day out, doing the same shit over and over and over... and THAT'S OKAY. Most people thrive on that and live very happy and meaningful lives!
It's the ones that complain about their "miserable" lives I'm referring to. If you truly believe, or actually do have a bad living situation, I invite you to begin the process to make the NECESSARY changes to improve your situation.
And that's different for everyone. But continuing to do your M-F, party on Saturday and Sunday and dread Monday again thinking, "Why is this my life?", or ,"I wish I was XYZ...". You're in control. You're steering your life. You make the choices that got you where you are today and what you're doing tomorrow.
I understand the feeling of the unknown. So many times I wanted to do something, but I didn't know how. I didn't have someone to teach me, a mentor. I didn't have money to start. E.t.c, e.t.c, e.t.c... or better: Excuse excuse excuse...
I should have learned from my 13 year old self. I was tired of being bullied. I was tired of being fat. I was tired of my appearance. I went into my room, blasted music, and just started to run in place, do jumping jacks, and shadow box. I had no idea what I was really doing, but I didn't wait for someone else to motivate me, coach me, or join me. I just did it.
22 years later, I'm still doing it. My new venture is the small business world. Once again, I didn't wait for a mentor, or to find the right book, or listen to the right bullshit podcast of someone else bragging about their success. I'm happy for all those people and their successes, but I personally had to make the necessary changes to start working towards what I wanted.
Because I too complained about my life year after year after year... I spun my wheels going nowhere. I got tired of what I was becoming and I made necessary changes.
And you can too.
My God, yes you can.
I, personally, believe you can.
